A Travellerspoint blog

March 16th: Heathrow to Tokyo - here I come!

(Test post)

overcast 5 °C

Hi welcome to my blog. I hope you find it interesting.

So I've had my Yellow Fever jab, got my 'psychotic-episode-inducing' antimalarials, my mosquito plug, my travel insurance and notified the Foreign Office of my intended whereabouts so they know where to rescue me if it all goes wrong. It's time for me to stop planning and thinking about the preparations, take a deep breath and get on with it!

So pleased you are getting away somewhere as exciting as these places. I hope you have a really great trip. I hated having my jabs for China but needs must. The malaria tablets can be really funny, no drink with them or you will go stir crazy (actually could be fun). I forgot to let the foreign office know I was away but I am registered with British Embassy incase of trouble. You are going to have an amazing trip I know.
Time to start packing.
